Scott Hove

Pastor Scott, our Executive Pastor, brings diverse experience to our church community. He grew up on a farm in North Dakota and later earned degrees in Business Administration and History/Political Science from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN.

After college, he worked as a staff member on both the House and Senate sides of Capitol Hill in Washington, DC, and even ran for statewide office in his native state. He also served as a development (fundraising) professional at his alma mater and has worked as a stockbroker, reinsurance broker, and sales trainer.

Prior to joining our church community, Pastor Scott attended Luther Seminary in St. Paul, MN and went on to serve as a pastor at two other churches – Community Lutheran in Las Vegas and Light of Christ Lutheran in Algonquin, IL.

Today, Pastor Scott resides in Henderson, NV with his wife Debi, their son Parker, and their Yellow Labrador Retriever, Pippi.
