Jim Luedtke

I moved to Las Vegas in 2013 from southern Wisconsin. I am a retired telecommunications engineer. I was widowed in 2001. I have 2 grown boys, James in Houston and Jonathon here in Vegas. I have 6 grandkids. I was drawn to the Lakes Lutheran because they were a church with a Stephen Ministry, which is a passion of mine.  I was appointed to the council in 2014 and elected in 2015. I am still serving as a council member representing the people at the Lakes campus. Besides volunteering at church a few days a week, I also volunteer at Nathan Adelson Hospice as a grief support facilitator. I am also a core volunteer for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PANCAN). My hobbies include watching almost any type of sporting event and woodworking.
