Donna Hall

Council Member

A Minnesota native,I moved to Las Vegas with my son (Steve) and my new husband (Ralph) in 1977. A medical social worker, I worked at Desert Springs Hospital, Sunrise Hospital, and finally at UMC Trauma Center in the Trauma ER for 15 years before retiring in 2014.

Initially I was a long-time member of Christ Lutheran Church and served on their council as president. I was also a Stephen Minister there, before
transferring my membership to TLLC in 2008.

For 10 years I was a member of LSSN’s Board of Directors, leaving that role when Pastor Ron came to The Lakes. I wanted to spend more time assisting Pr Ron as necessary, and have acted as sort of an unofficial office administrator since 2016, along with being on church council a couple of times. I am currently the council president.

My interests are in choir (I am the lone female tenor), and WELCA. I was
instrumental in establishing a WELCA chapter at TLLC, which was quite active until the Covid shutdown. We held the Colorado River conference Spring gathering in 2019, with around 80 women in attendance.

Aside from church activities, I love reading; my almost-3 year old yellow lab, Katie; watching the Golden Knights and The Aviators games; and traveling.
