Prayer & Care Ministries

At Good Sam, we believe in the power of prayer and the importance of supporting one another through life’s challenges. Our Care and Prayer Ministries are designed to provide spiritual, emotional, and practical help to those in need within our church family and the community. Below, you'll find an overview of the various ministries available to you.

Prayer Ministry

We are committed to praying for our members, their families, and the broader community. Whether you need prayer for healing, guidance, or any personal concern, our Prayer Ministry is here for you.

  • Prayer Requests: Submit your prayer needs online or in person, and our dedicated team will lift you up in prayer throughout the week.
  • Prayer Chain: A group of faithful prayer warriors who immediately begin praying when requests are submitted.
  • Sunday Prayer Team: After each service, our team is available to pray with you one-on-one.
Grief Support

Our Grief Support Ministry is here to walk alongside you through the difficult process of loss. Whether you’ve lost a loved one, a job, or are grieving a life change, you don’t have to face it alone.

  • GriefShare Program: A weekly group meeting providing support and encouragement as you navigate the path of grief.
  • One-on-One Support: For those who prefer individual care, we offer confidential meetings with a trained counselor or minister.
Food Ministry
Food Ministry

At Good Sam, we are committed to serving those in our community who are facing food insecurity. Our Food Distribution Ministry ensures that individuals and families have access to nutritious meals and the support they need during challenging times.

  • Monthly Food Distribution: Every 1st & 3rd Saturday of the month, our team distributes boxes of fresh groceries to those in need. This includes non-perishable items, fresh produce, dairy, and more. No one in our community should go hungry, and we are here to help provide that support.
  • Volunteers Welcome: Our ministry thrives with the help of volunteers! Whether packing boxes, delivering food, or assisting with distribution, there are many ways you can serve.
  • How to Receive Help: If you or someone you know is in need of food assistance, simply come by on distribution days between 7:00a-10:00a, or contact us at 702.873.3589 for more information.

We believe that meeting physical needs is an important part of demonstrating Christ’s love, and we are here to serve with compassion and dignity.
